Calling all young artists and builders! This year’s smART Show will feature a special LEGO Art Exhibit from Ottawa Hills Elementary School Students, where students can showcase their creativity by constructing incredible works of art using LEGO bricks. Whether you create an original masterpiece or recreate a famous work of architecture, painting, or sculpture, we can’t wait to see your imagination come to life!

Submission Criteria:

✔️ Original or Inspired – Your LEGO creation can be an original design or a recreation of a famous artwork, building, or sculpture.

✔️ Creativity & Detail – Think about colors, patterns, and small details that make your piece unique.

✔️ Stability & Presentation – Make sure your creation is sturdy enough for display. Consider a baseplate or stand if needed. 

✔️ Title & Artist Statement – Each entry should include a title and a short explanation of your inspiration and building process.

The Lego art pieces will be on display at the Junior/Senior High School smART show on April 23 from 6-9pm. We’re excited to see how you turn LEGO bricks into works of art! Get ready to build, create, and inspire! "Masterpiece" is this year's smART show theme.

Official entries must be brought to the junior high school between 3-4 pm on April 23. Judges will select winners and announce them at 7:30 p.m. at the smART show.

Please register for the Lego Art show to help organizers prepare and to be eligible for one of the prizes. While all LEGO builds are welcome, judges will give preference to entries that are unique creations (not a LEGO boxed set build) for prize winners.  

First Prize:  Ben and Jerry's $50 gift card

Runner-up: Ben and Jerry's $30 gift card

Second runner-up:  Ben and Jerry's $15 gift card
